Bridge work started at Highpoint Partners with county bridges and head walls. Since then, we are building GRS (Geosyntheticaly Reinforced Soil) bridges along with structural steel. Our certified welders are equipped with welding trucks and work on site welding steel.
Safety is number one with Highpoint Partners and continued training programs are in place to protect
those working on projects.
Each project now has it's own safety manager and training goes into
OSHA 10 - 30, IMSHA
and Railway Training.
This project consisted of first clearing then building highway cross over roads with proper drainage to prepare for replacement of (4) lane bridge
in being replaced.
Mobilization (3) time during this (3) year project.
This project included clearing and building up road access to place 24" boulders on bank sides.
During this project, the quarry ran out of 24" rock and with (3) of our men having owned quarries, Highpoint was able to negotiate with a quarry closer to the project to bring in our equipment and
break and load the rock and finish early.
Highpoint employees have many talents and during 2024, it was decided between projects to building our new facility.
Too with Joey Waldrup (owner Cinda Wood's son in law) coming on board with his talent in mechanical, tire replacement and brake work, we show his area and will link to HighpointTire.com website.
This project was Highpoint largest yet.
It entailed coordination of replacing
(3) rails on (3) dam sites, 100 miles apart in (3) different states. The project required a set time frame in the
coldest part of the winter in order
to finish by Mar 1 when barges would again be pulled through.
With Davis Bacon Wages being at different scales for each state, Jodi Waldrup as office manager excelled.
